We will pick you up from your overnight hotel at around 0800am and drive to Tarangire for a full day of game drives. Tarangire lies a few kilometers away to the southeast of Lake Manyara National Park and it does cover an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. The park is well known for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons, and it also offers the possibility to sport big cats which include lions, leopards, cheetah, and serval cats. After the game drives your overnight will be near Lake Manyara national park, which brings us a bit closer to our next destination Serengeti national park.
We leave after breakfast, then we drive towards Serengeti national park leaving the Ngorongoro conservation area behind, enjoy the rough, tough but adventurous drive through Ngorongoro highland until you reach the first Serengeti gate, keep your eyes open for anything that will surprise you as the park is full of surprises and unique adventures. Enjoy this en-route game drive until you reach your campsite/lodge eat dinner and relax and get ready for more adventure the next morning.
This day is spent exploring the Serengeti vastness, in order to maximize the game drive in the park, lunch boxes will be arranged so that you get more time in the bush rather than going into the bush and coming back for lunch. Enjoy this extended game drive until late evening when you will be taken back to the campsite/lodge for your overnight stay.
You will do an early morning game drive, then you will come back for brunch and get yourself ready for another game drive while driving back to the Ngorongoro conservation area, you will overnight at the crater rim and enjoy beautiful views of the crater while sharing stories about the past day’s safari experience.
Today is a day for the paradise on earth, where you will descend into the crater floor which is 610m deep and 260 square km. You will spend half of the day exploring the crater and if you will be lucky, then there is even a chance to see all the big 5 animals only in one day. Lunch will be served on the crater floor after lunch continues with another game drive while slowly driving out, this marks the end of your 5 days Tanzania safari, driving back to Arusha with your heart filled with joy and total satisfaction.
