Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport and our driver will pick you up and take you to a hotel located in Arusha city “Geneva of Africa”.
After an early breakfast at around 7:00 am, you will start your journey to Lake Manyara National Park whereby on your way you will have a 3 hours stop at Meserani Snake Park for various activities such as camel riding, a short walk in the Maasai museum, enjoying the incredible viewing of the reptiles and lunch during the afternoon. In the late noon, you will be proceeding with the journey to Lake Manyara national parks for dinner and a night stay at the camp.
Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is worth a stop in its own right. Its groundwater forests, bush plains, baobab-strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds.
After having breakfast, our experienced professional guide will take you to the wilderness for game driving to various parts of the park with your lunch boxes so that you can have your meals at the designated picnic sites during the afternoon and on your way back to the camp you can opt whether to go directly to your campsite or stretching your body by having a walk a treetop walkway which is located near the main gate.
The alkaline soda of Lake Manyara is home to an incredible array of birdlife that thrives on its salty waters. Pink flamingo crouch and graze by the thousands of colorful spots against the grey minerals of the lake shore. Yellow-billed storks fly down and corkscrew on thermal winds rising up from the escarpment, and herons flap their wings against the sun-drenched sky. Even unimpressed bird watchers will find something to watch and marvel at within the national park.
Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions are another reason to pay a visit to this park. The only kind of their species in the world, they make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias their home during the rainy season and are a well-known but rather rare feature of the northern park.
Early morning after an amazing breakfast from the best cooks in the country you will begin an hour's drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area whereby after check-in, right away you will start your tour to the crater where you will have your lunch at Ngoitoktok picnic site Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera whereby the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level.
The crater was voted by Seven Natural Wonders as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. As you drive along the crater you are likely to encounter a number of wild large and small mammals including black rhinoceros, wildebeests, zebras, eland, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles. The crater also has the densest known population of lions, leopards, elephants, mountain reedbuck, buffalos, spotted hyenas, jackals, rare wild dogs, cheetahs, and other cats.
After a game drive in the Ngorongoro crater later in the evening, you will take yourself to Simba A campsite located at the Ngorongoro crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.
This is another wonderful day planned to be spent on foot rather than on a 4×4 land cruiser. This full-day hike explores the dramatic Empakai Crater. With a lake on the Crater floor and the entire caldera encircled by a steep, thickly woody wall, Empakai is a scene of vast natural beauty. On clear days the Crater offers views of Ol Doinyo Lengai, Tanzania’s most recently active volcano. The steep slope calls for a degree of fitness, but the walk through the lush forest, with its ancient strangler figs and rich birdlife, is well worth the effort. The trail continues to the lakeshore, where you can view water birds such as flamingos.
Standing at Empakai Crater’s imposing rim, you can see landmarks, such as the distant fleecy snows of Kilimanjaro far on the eastern side of the Valley, the Great Rift Valley, and the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano. Along with your hiking vacation, while taking in the glorious sights, you are sure to spot plenty of animals including blue monkeys, buffalo, bushbucks, waterbucks, and an extensive collection of multicolored bird life.
On this hiking trip, you will have to take the necessary belongings together with the lunch boxes and enough water for the whole walking safari. Late in the evening, we will take you back to the camp for dinner and a night stay.
After having breakfast at the camp you will be driving to Serengeti national park but stopping at Olduvai Gorge “Cradle of Mankind” Olduvai Gorge, in northern Tanzania, is internationally recognized for Louis and Mary Leakey’s famous discoveries of early humans and magnificent antiquities documenting the evolutionary history of our stone tool-using ancestors, vertebrate fauna, and the environments over the last two million years.
It is also the wealth of archaeological and paleontological data for the study of some key phases of early human evolution you will be spending about 2 to 3 hours enjoying the atmosphere, having lunch and later proceeding with the journey to Serengeti national park for camping, dinner, and preparation for the next day schedule.
As you wake up at this wonderful and vast plain enriched with varieties of wildlife including the BIG 5 animals and the unique migration you will have an early breakfast, before heading for the game drive as per your wish as our precious customer, you can either opt to go for morning game drive or arrange with our guide to take you to Serengeti balloon safari to experience the beauty of the Serengeti national park on a hot air balloon and viewing of wildlife from above the ground but at a closer range within the remote areas of Serengeti from above the ground.
After a ride on a hot air balloon, your guide will pick you up at the landing point for the game drive within the park and in the afternoon you will be having lunch at the picnic sites near the hippo pool and driving back to the camp on a late evening.
The Serengeti National Park, meaning "endless plains" in the Maasai language established in the year 1951 is indeed one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers, and photographers. Also, it is Tanzania’s oldest game reserve, renowned as the site of the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope mostly wildebeest migrate to Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will take you for a morning game drive before a plane departure at Seronera airstrip located at the center of Serengeti national park for a domestic plane to an amazing spicy island known as Zanzibar.
Zanzibar can be considered another part of Tanzania in East Africa. It is composed of the Zanzibar a group of islands in the Indian Ocean extending from 25 to 50 kilometers (16–31 mi) off the coast of the mainland and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja (the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar) and Pemba. The capital is Zanzibar City, located on the island of Unguja. Its historic center is Stone Town, which is a World Heritage Site.
After arriving at the airport in Zanzibar, our guide located in Zanzibar will pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel located in the town for check-in and later he will take you to the beach and other places around the island.
After breakfast, later at about 11:00 am, you will be heading to the center of Stone Town for lunch and refreshments. Once you finish your lunch, enjoy a tour of Stone Town as your guide gives you the rich background history of this island. Visit different museums in town, an old church, and an ancient market.
After a long tour of the stone town, your guide will take you to among the world’s most amazing beaches. Zanzibar’s coastline offers some of the best beaches which vary with the side of the island. On the east coast, waves break over coral reefs and sand bars offshore, and low tide reveals small pools of starfish, small minnows, and anemones. Up north, ocean swimming is much less susceptible to the tides, and smooth beaches and white sand make for stunning sunsets on the beach.
After having breakfast your driver will take you to Zanzibar international airport for your international flight.
